3d mark bug

is there some sort of bug in 3d mark03.
i have a 680i with a C2d6600@+3500 a old sli 7900gt.
my 3dmark 03 comes 16386pts higher then my amd@3000
i only ran 3d mark to see if system is still stable.
so what gives 3d mark score. 42900 seems to high.
also 2nd time with 42900 score ?
