Hi guys

I'm new to oc, and today i just oc my slot A athlon 700 to 822, with 117 fbs and 1.65 V....and this is all i could get...is this normal?

i also bought a temperature monitoring driver rack, and it comes with 2 sensors....i placed one on the back of my Geforce 2 mx 400, where the gpu is on the other side...is this ok? if not, where should i place it? and whats the right temp?

i placed the other sensor on the back of my cpu, because i was having problem taking off the heat sink...is this location ok? if not, where should i place it? and whats the right temp with the overclocking i got?

i really needs some pros opinion....thanks guys

Its not bad but you could probably do better if you increased your vcore a bit more.

If you could get the temp probs under the HSF on the GForce card,(closer to the core) it might reflect more accurate temps. Same with the CPU, Just be careful doing it to the CPU. [don't want to have the HSF off of the cpu ! ]

117, nice;)

ah welcome to the forum's fellow canuck :p

117 fsb is real nice... what mobo do u have?

U should try getting a GFD and unlocking your cpu...
sounds like u could alot more out of it...

the back's aren't as effective... on the slot A's there's actually space between the plate and PCB, maybe u could squeeze it in between the 2, towards the core in the middle... I'd try that..
