I don't have our lowest latency DDR2 in hand yet but, the lowest CAS rating I see that people can actually run is CAS3 on DDR2. Due to the way the frequency scales on DDR2, CAS3 is about the equivalent of DDR CAS 1.5 or possibly cAS2. Our PC6400C3D runs CAS3. I'll post screenies in a couple of days when I get my set to play with.

From what I know of it, CAS2 on DDR2 is not electrically feasible as the frequencies are simply too high and 2 clocks is not enough time to strobe a column at DDR2 speeds. Crude explanation and I am sure someone smarter than me can shed some light on this.

i have a few sticks of D9GMH that will hit 3338 anything lower = no boot.

I've seen some suicide runs at Extreme System where a system booted Corsair Dominator at CAS2 according to the bios. But, there is some speculation that this is electrically impossible and that it was a bios error. To date, I have never seen any DDR2 run at less than 3,3,3 timings at any voltage.
