Anyone have success with lapping stock HSF

This things seems kind of smooth but has anyone gotten good results from lapping a stock Aluminum HSF?

Well I will know the lapped part soon enough. While trying to remove that stuff they put on the retail hsf I scratched the aluminum and it was shinny so here we go time make a mirror hs , aluminum this time.
