Well, I posted a while ago, and I have made some adjustments to the system I going to build... I just want to knoow what you guys think. This is a bduget system... kinda...

Case:
Antec SX1030B (300watt power supply)

Motherboard:
This is where I am not sure. I am looking at the ASUS A7B266-E, the Abit KR7 raid, or the SOYO Dragon PLUS. I can't decide! :) Does anyone know which one of these is the best for overclocking? Do any of them support 1/5 divider?

Cpu:
Athlon XP 1600+, I will unlock it and I am hoping to run a very high bus speed. I want o get 1500mhz. I know all of the components can run at least 44mhz PCI.

Memory:
Well, I was thinking Corsair XMS2400, but it looks like it has gone up 35% in price in two weeks!!! man, it's getting expensive, but I still think I am going to get it because everyone seems to think it's worth it, and some people can get it to run at 170fsb at cas2.

Video Card:
Ati Radeon 8500 (already bought it :) )... Nvidia was looked at but is too expensive for what you get...

Monitor:
Nec FE750 1600x1200@73hz 17"

Hard Drive:
Hopping to raid two IBM 60gxp 40gb 7200rpm.

DVD
Sony 16x DVD-ROM OEM.

Cpu Cooler:
Well, I am pretty sure I am going to go with the Alpha 8045T. I just don't know if it is worth it for double the price of the sk6 which I am also considering... any ideas?

Case Fans
The case has spots for 4 80mm fans (2 exhaust, 1 intake, 1 hard drive.) I am going to fill all of them with 80mm Sunon Fans.

Any input is appreciated :)

things look good! But I would have gone for the NVida - much better card !!!

I knew someone would say that :) Not really I don't think, it doesn't have dual display, doesn't have a lot of other feautres like smoothvision or anything, also, it's like $130 more... :) plus for speed they are about the same because the 8500 beats the ti500 in some and the ti500 beats the 8500 in some. It's a draw, but the 8500 was a lot cheaper :)

Slick.

I agree, the Radeon 8500 is the best value you can get. I think it's about time I got a video card, and I was looking at the Radeon 8500. I have an onboard Sis 630/730, which works fine except when I play Fifa 2002 in 1024x768 with the detail level set on high. It's the opposite of smooth.

For motherboards, I would go with the DRAGON Plus, a friend o fmine has it and it is a pleasure to o/c and comes with many onboard features that are useful to have

I got it for $381CDN, about $240USD Retail Box... REALLY GOOD DEAL. The ti500's are about $550CDN.

I suggest that all of the Sunon's be the 50cfm models.

As far as video cards go, I really like the geforce 2 pro, I paid $175
for the 64mb model, and it performs almost as good as the Ultra for half the price. It also overclocks well...at least the Leadtec does.
MaximumPC just did a head to head review on the radeon 8500, and the TI500, and the TI came out as the overall winner I believe it was the nov issue, but you can find the review in their "reprints" section of their website.
I'm not into Amd, so I can't help you with your mobo choice.
The rest of your choices look good too.
