does anyone have a source on knowing when these ibm's will be released?
im in the market for a 80~120gb hdd and id like to get the best out. and those ibm's look like they would kill WD'S hdd's.

I can't find any place that sells them yet, but here is a link to the official IBM press release that is dated November 7, 2001. Sounds like they should be available at anytime now.

Ok, I found this article (also dated November 7, 2001) that states the drives should be available by the end of the month (which is now).
