AFAIK it should delete it when it boots back up. The amount of hard disk space used ~ <= the amount of RAM you have.
 
i don't really know, but You could try doing the disk clean up if it doesn't recover Your free hdd space after turning back from hibernation.
 
hiberfil.sys if memory serves is the hibernation file's default name, it should shrink every time you unhibernate as long as nothing crashes out on restore. You should be able to delete it without any issues, but you may want to google for more info.

Disable it and reboot.
