Guess who's back in town ? ... Santa and his merry elves!

Yes it is that time of year again when it is time to do what we can in our T32 ways to help make sure everyone has a bit of folding enjoyment during the holiday season. Hopefully we can all have something to celebrate in an eventful but happy and successful year of folding. And I think the cause has advanced a lot this year.

Santa and the elves will be leaving a WU under as many folding trees as possible again this year :santa:

Last year Santa started a bit late, and despite good intentions is not starting much earlier this year :o

Since like all WU's, these little presents are time sensitive, and so they will get delivered as soon as they are produced. We can't stockpile them for delivery on one day since that would be bad for the science and our cause.

Don't be offended if yours is not delivered till as late as New Year. Unfortunately when it comes to folding, Santa and his elves are still subject to the laws of physics.

A few of you will have already received their presents and I will try to post the list of deliveries regularly since it can be difficult to recognize a gift wu.

As usual, Santa and his elves continue to be administratively challenged ... we do make the occasional typo, or get the case wrong on you stanford id's.

One thing that is sometimes challenging is to determine someones stanford id when it is different from their id on OCF so if you fall into this category, PLEASE either post a message here or PM me so we can make sure the gifts go to someone who will enjoy it.

Since there is such a large folding team, it is quite likely that there won't be enough time to produce a gift wu for every active folder. But we will do our best.

All I want for Chistmas is for my production to go back up so that I can move these 17 spots into the top 1000. I had it as a goal for the new year, but it doesn't seem to be quite the reality I was looking for. I seemed to be on a roll, but those Patty Melts slowed me down quite a bit. I guess it would be fitting to maybe ask for some faster hardware for Christmas? I think 5 Conroes would do the job quite well.

Edit: I've been a good Folder this year I promise both of my cows on my small farm have been 24/7.

Dude! You can't even really tell I had long hair in that picture... but Cajun is correct. I no longer have my glorious hair... I've lost my power. :cry: Oh well... I gave it away to the "locks for love" a.k.a. the kids for cancer. So at least someone with no hair due to cancer treatment can have a little piece of me that will hopefully make them feel better. Santa and his elves have been trying to make sure you all receive a folding present for your T32 folding tree.

With all the magical elven assistance this year we should have around 100 gifts placed by Christmas which is a big improvement over my effort last year.

One of my biggest challenges is coming up with the list ... and we have ben trying to especially make sure the newest folders get a :welcome: gift.

One of this things that makes this diffcult is to figure out what STANFORD folding id people are using when it is not the same as your OCF id.

So if you are a new folder, or an existing one that has been missed from my list PLEASE PM me asap with your Stanford folding ID.

:attn: Also, since many are away right now ... if anyone knows of new folders i should not miss, please send me their ocf ID's and stanford id's on their behalf.

It would be nice to get them all produced by Dec 25 but the santa folding factory will still be in operation till the new year or so.

WOW I have to agree there. I don't care too much for her as a blonde, but she is smokin in that pic. I just wanted to drop in and say a big thank you to Santa and the elves. Someone dropped me a Ribo under my tree, and it was just what it took to finally get me into the top 1000 Folders of T32. I finally got over 25,000 points this morning, and 600 of that is because of Santa and his elves. Again thank you so very much.
