to keep your ram for being the bottle neck i would say the e6400.

E6400, less hassles overclocking and cheapest chip per multiplier.

and I'll add if you search the forums you'll see that most people with a E6300, while happy would love that extra 8 multi.

Shelnutt2 is absolutely spot on. My e6300 can reach no higher than 3.15ghz at the moment due to the Ram. An extra multiplier would have helped immensely.
