ASUS P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP GREEN

What does the green mean? Is it important? I am thanking about buying this board.

I don't think it is anything important but I am not sure what it means unless it environmentally friendly or something such as no lead in solder.

I think it has something to do with european environemental standards.

Like Meionm said, it means it is ROHS compliant (Lead free solder) and meets the European environmental standards.
