I am not quite sure what is the better route to achieve better performance and higher point gains in 3 D mark2K1. Since this card does not run like my 64 DDR vivo with the same clk/mem speeds.

I have got the 7500 to 330/236 , but I am wondering if the mem will go higher if I do not increase the engine clk as high?

The memory I think should be rated at 4 or 4.5 ns and it should overclock higher than 236 since default is 290/230. Does 300/250 seem feasible with stock cooling, is it the ram thats the issue more so than the core with this card?

Any ideas or feedback are welcomed

Found a good article on the 7500, it uses 4ns ram and with additional cooling of the ram and gpu this card has seen

Quote below:

Overclocking

With the additional cooling provided the ATI RADEON 7500 reached 320/270 (540) MHz! Earlier the 4ns memory never overclocked higher than 260 MHz!

Note:

in course of overclocking you must provide additional cooling, in particular, for the card (first of all, for its memory);
overclocking depends on the definite sample, and you shouldn't generalize the results of one card to all video cards of this mark or series. The overclocking results are not the obligatory characteristics of a video card.

This gives me some interest in seeing what this card can do with some cooling, I may end up keeping it after all.....
