i was just wondering if anyone that is using a Koolance or any

other type of water cooling setup has experienced a drop in

there water level in their reservoir.

i have had my Koolance for almost 2 weeks now, and i am seeing the level drop

now grant it, its been very little

is this normal?

i was thinking that maybe all the air is finally settling out, therefore the tubing has more water in it which would make the reservoir drop some

there are no leaks, and i thought that since it is in a closed inviroment, evaporation wouldn't happen

any suggestions or advise on this is greatly appreciated

thanks

My guess is what you suggest, that the water is giving up its gasses and settling. Though I don't use a reservoir, I just finished setting up my water cooling system and the level fell for about 3-4 days. with a reservoir and hence more water, it would seem to be normal for it to take longer to finish settling. I'm sure if you had a leak, you'd have known already. I imagine if the reservoir isn't sealed tight enough, some small degree of evaporation will also occur over time.

So far mines stayed about 1-2mm below the top above the "high level". Exactly the same level as when i originally filled it up.

When I first filled the reservoir and tubes it took me almost an hour to get all the air bubles out; individually taking each block in order from the output on the reservior, tapping it, and making sure even the tiniest bubbles were gone. After doing this I turned it over and filled the tank up again to the top until water overflowed.
