i have one 1gb strip of ocz gold pc4000 (single channel) running in my system @ 1T - 3.3.2.6 - 245mhz under 2.6v. Im having trouble overclocking it with tighter timings. A digital temperature thermometer recorded 35 degrees in the vicinity of the ram module, is this too high? is there room to up the volts to 3.0v to see if i can eek out tighter timings?

edit: stock is 1T,250mhz, 3.4.3.8. ive been looking and it seems i wont beat 3.3.2.6 on a single module, if i bought another i might be able to marginally beat it.

Try

Timings - 3-4-4-9
Voltage - 2.8V/2.7v

Should be able to hit 270

Not sure about 1t tho might have to go 2t
