Router and multiplayer games

I bought a linksys Router a couple weeks ago. I wanted to know if any one that uses a Router has any problems playing online multiplayer games. In RTC Wolfenstein multi no servers pop up.

Have you checked your firewall settings? that could be preventing you from seeing other online games. I'm assuming that you can still browse the internet so you're running the connection through the router fine...probably has something to do with the firewall function built into the router...I unfortunatley don't know much about it. :(

Im 99% sure that your problem is not the router. RTCW, by default, filters out online games and just shows LAN games. Somewhere in the upper left corner of the multiplayer screen, there is something you click on to show online games.

I have a linksys router, and have never had a prob. w/ playing games as a client.
