win2k and sondblaster 128......

ive just installed win 2k and keep getting a real scratchy sound with s/b pci 128.

it works fine under win'98.

i dont know what drivers to use as it seems a nightmare for these cards as there are so many chipsets but even installing the nt4 drivers fron the install disk doesnt help.

im using directx 8a

Move the card to another pci slot, or change config in BIOS for the Audio card...

moved soundcard and made sure in bios onboard was off. installed some drivers from the www but still the same

some sound but really scratchy and nasty

card is ct4810. which seems to be hard to track down as creative europe have no drivers for it and when a general search not much comes back
