Hey, i was wondering, for a serial ata drive, do i need to plug in both power connectors? the SATA one and the molex one? I tried looking on WD's website but its kinda hard to find.

Use ONLY one. I suggest that SATA connector if you have it on your PSU.

I almost made the same mistake of plugin both power leads in when i put my first sata drive in a pc :p
makes you wonder why it is not clearly stated on packaging or on the websites you buy them from etc.


But anyhow, how is the build coming along /\\/3|2o? hope it's coming along nicely for ya!
And im just a little bit curious but what spec pc are you putting gogether anyhow?...

On my Raptors it says on the bottom near the power ports only to use one power cable, not both.

yeah I also almost made that mistake on my first build hehe.

What would actually happen if both were connected? I imagine it would just not work?
