When you have two monitor outputs on the newer cards with 2 DVI outputs what is the typical limitation of the card? The reason i ask is i am putting together a new system with the intention of using One of the outputs with my computer monitor (probably at 1600x1200) and i would like to use the second output to connect to my 50" plasma TV at 1080i to run simultaneously.

Is this possible with most current ATI and Nvidia cards? Will powerstrip allow me to tweak one of the ports for my plasma?

That should work fine. I run one of my PCs that way with an x800PRO.

Do you use powerstrip to tweak one of the outputs for your hdtv?

I have played around with powerstrip on my Samsung LCD TV. It seems to work fine with having multiple monitors.
