BF2 Video Performance?

Hey guys... just got a new X1900 CF card... I thought this card was suppossed to be a lot better than the X850 series? I tried to play BF2 with everything on high with 4X AA and Texture Filtering set to high, but I was pulling in only like 32 fps... I lowered Lighting to low and got to about 35-40fps.. I am now going to try it with 2X AA and Texture Filtering at high... Is there something wrong with my system thats holding me back or is this all this card can really do?

dunno. i run it pretty damn well with all details maxed. although i dont think i use AA/AF set that high. the quality difference has never been worth the fps hit to me.

What resolution are you running at?

Try installing new drivers, defraging, and make sure you dont have many background processes running.

I'm using a 7900GT (should be comparable or a lil slower than your card) with everything on high, except no AA, all at 1920x1200 resolution. FRAPS shows that I never go under 100fps.

You might want to try changing the PCIe slot that you put it in? On my board, cards run much slower on the slot farthest from the processor.

my card is in the first slot... and I'm running it at 1280 x 1024....should be nothing for my card...
