In all my games I get a very bad sort of "candy cane" texture crawling thing, I'm using an 8800 GTX, with 16xAF , 16xQAA, and Super Sampling enabled.. so.. this shouldnt be happening. Games I've seen it in are World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2142, and Oblivion. The further an object is, the worse it gets. Here's 2 screenshots

It's Christmas, enjoy the glitches that refer to the christmas season lol
It's probibly a driver glitch, i dont hav a 8800 so i dont know
Try turning down AA and see if that helps

Most likely that is a driver problem but if it where not at g80 card I would say that the problem most likely is caused by the memory or shaders either overheating or not getting enough voltage.
What are your temps? What drivers are you using? (sorry I cant help with this at all but other might be able to) Have you overclocked you card at all and do these problems pop up right when you start the games or after awhile?

Do you have a widescreen monitor?
I do, and I get the same effect because I can't run BF2142 in widescreen resolution. I'm not totally sure that that's the problem, I'm just throwing out some more possibilities. Good luck, let me know if anything fixes it.
