Do i need these folders ???

Hiya, got my self a new lappie and it has come with windows media centre edition
Under c drive/program files there are these following four folders
DOTNETFX
SUPPORT
VALUEADD
CMPNENTS

From what i understand/can gather is that the files in these folders are regards 3rd party programs and i presume probably all bloatware.
Does anybody know if i can safely delete these folders with out cocking up the system

At least 2 of those are Windows Installation folders (by name). This laptop may use System Restore and have the Windows installation source files on disk, so I don't think it would be a good idea to delete them. It could also mean the the previous owner had copied the source files for use with Nlite or similar.
