I have had the sys in my sig for a month or so, and just upgraded from an x800xt agp to the 1950pcie. all was working fine when i swapped the cards but, then it will not boot past the bios screen (it just hangs). after some messing with it I found if I unplug the both the two cd drives and the one ide hard drive it will boot and work fine. If any one of the ide devices are pluged in, no boot.

I got the mobo form the egg so i shouldn't have a problem with the rma but just wannted to try to find out what was the prob.

Thanks

It hangs before it will POST? Or do you ever get to a Windows screen?

Have you tried a CMOS reset? First thing that springs to mind, sounds like some setting is off since the upgrade.

It will start to post then hang there.
I have reset the cmos jumper a few times with no change and all overclock settings are stock now.
thanks for the reply
