Need help with a ipod

Looking for software that will allow a customer of mine to rip his dvds to his ipod.also a guide or how to would be nice.yes all dvds are his but he travels and would like to have this ability.thanks

I don't think that ipods can play .vob files. He will first need to convert the files to .mov or .mpg or whatever other file type ipods will accept. From there all that needs to be done is follow his normal procedure for getting files onto his ipod. I don't know about that last part because I have only put music on my sister's ipod and don't know how to get video files on.
