SB Live! temps

hey,

i have a SBLive! value sound card which i bought about 2 years ago, and now i noticed something.

The main chip gets really hot while working... about 55 °C...
is that normal or do i cool it??

The Sb Live cards do get hot, I've never measure the temps, about that sounds about right.

if i cool it... i mean if i put a passive/active cooler on it... would i do something to the sound systhesis on the card... i mean is the card meant to run hot or ??
