Hey all,
Does anyone know the date of when the new E4300's will come out?
Tank Guys (http://www.tankguys.biz/intel-core-e4300-180ghz-p-1709.html) already have it listed but it shows as back ordered. I will be getting this chip the moment it comes out.

looks like jan 21st, dont know if it will be a paper launch or not. Also most of the first chips might go to oems, kind of like most of the fist conroes did, so I dont know if anyone will be able to get it around that time

Hmm Jan 21st eh...
Well if the OEM's can get them, I am sure the Intel employee's can get em too.
Thanks for the link,

you sure about that .....hmm but listed as $199 should be closer to 150 from what irc on the intel pricing that was listed in the summer....looks like i will just wait then for one to mess with. also means i should be watching the fry's ad more when the hit there....seeing as $169 e6300 mobo combo's pop up alot.......

my guess.. TD will sell the crappy clockin OEM's for ~$170 launch day.. Id wait it out for a few weeks for retails (and the closer to $150 prices) :)
TG's preorders are a little higher but the service rocks.. bet you could get the A or B info off them on the current lineup.

Dang it,
I can't wait! I want that CPU now! I feel like Cartman in South Park, and the Nintendo Wii right now.
Maybe I should freeze myself and have a buddy thaw me out when they start selling this chip...

I'll be waiting for the Q2 price drop on the E4400's. $133 sounds like a buy in for me.
Too bad I'll need to hock up to DDR2 mem and a new mobo for the switch but hey...
January 21st....
I'll probably wait until newegg receives them then I'll buy.

what the table i saw e4400 is due out in q2, but imo e4300 is the better buy still. price will be drooped to est. $116 from the table for Q2.

I too was going to wait for the e4400 because of its "nicer" multiplier, but I don't believe I have the patience to do so:)
