All you need to do is the cpu burn in test.

I usually set mine up to run overnight. If it's still going strong in the morning I figure I have a good oc.

If you really want to stress test your cpu download TOAST (http://pls.telenet.be/software/toast.zip)

5 minutes of TOAST is equal to 24 hours of any other burn in program.

If you can run it for 5-10 minutes your cpu is stable......

Pinky also has the program in his link section

And then, of course, since you're already a member, the best way to stress-test your CPU might be folding! (http://www.overclockers.ws/)

You can monitor your temps and fan speeds on sisoft sandy, from what I,ve seen if there is a problem the system will lock up. But I have never read about any real damage to equip. If you know how to oc your system I,m surprised you haven,t tested already.

Toast is the badest, meanest torture test there is, you can monitor the temps with mother board monitor or Sandra.

But the point of Toast is to test the CPU's stability, like I said before run it for 5-10 minutes and if your PC doesnt freeze up on you its safe to assume your overclock is stable. 5 minutes of Toast is equivalent to 24 hours of any otherburn in program/ You may think your overclock is stable , that is until you ran Toast

There is nothing that tortures your CPU better than Toast and Ive tried them all.

Who wrote Toast? Is there a website? I have a lot of people asking me about it because I reccommend it so much.
