[1/8/07] 3DMark 05 week

Alright guys this is our first week benching 3D so lets do this right. Everyone and all scores are welcome. Please reply here and post your results in the 3DMark 05 hwbot thread (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=486119) by Sunday 14th and remember to include the appropriate hwbot tag. A screen shot is not required but we do need a Futuremark 05 ORB link (a published result that can be viewed in your project manager), for you score to be valid.

All participants will be entered into a random drawing to recieve a free 3DMark 05 Pro key. The winner will be announced Monday the 15th.

Here is an example of the hwbot tag.

14000 - E6600 @ 3900mhz, X1900 XTX 650/850


A couple of things to remember - don't use a comma in your score. 16,000 needs to be written as 16000. Also if anyone would like to go to the hwbot site click here

There you can view detailed info on our team as well as all the other hwbot teams around the world. You can also create your own account on hwbot to submit scores directly if you wish.

Single card can be as above, nothing special required. SLI or CF setup's then yes, you write 2X in front of the card like this.

Cool a bench I have a chance at. The x700pro record is pretty much mine but due to the rig its in using Xp x64 it doesn't recognize the drivers as WHQL. So tommorow or this weekend i'll throw it on AM2 rig and get something for you.

Thats funny I was able to run 2003 X64 no problem, actually now that I think about it does PCMark even require WHQL approved drivers?

I checked again and I was using the 6.10s not the 6.9s like I thought so i'll rerun with the 6.9s and find out if thats it.

It does say I am using Win2k3 server though which is why I thought it didn't like my scores

Just tried it with the 6.6s and it still says drivers non-whql so if you figure out a way let me know.

You are 100% right, you cannot get FM approved on X64 versions of XP or 2003, sorry.

Will do then. I hope that my little 12282 will help out. I did see on Hwbot that my first post won an award. Top 4 for 7900gs's I thnk. I'll have to check again when I repost tommorow.

got my best score last night. 12682. ONE PROBLEM> I downloaded and installed the new nvidia driver <93.41> (I thnk, at my work computer) Anyway.... it says that my results were not with an approved driver. Is this score not eligable to download to hwbot?????

I'm not sure right off my gut feeling would be no its not valid but I don't know for sure.

Our standards are a little higher than hwbot's, we require approved drivers in 03, 05 & 06. The only exception is for newly released hardware when Futuremark is way too slow adding new catagories to the database.

2 1/2 days to go guys, is anybody gonna do this?

I still want to find out why it doesn't approve 93.71 for my 7600GT... :bang head

Btw, OCXtreme.org and XtremeSystems.org are currently in a bit of a scuffle over the first place spot for all teams...unfortunately we're nowhere near them atm, but looking at the ranking reveals we're only 40 points below jumping from 6th to 7th and bumping extremeprometeia down a notch. We're doing very well considering they have 162 more uploaded results than us, but are such a tiny margin away.

So keep turning those scores in guys!

Woohoo! I definetly got caught up in trying to get the world record for my card in 06 and completely forgot about this haha... If I can get the 05 WR tonight, I'll post my results. If not, then I'll put them up sometime tomorrow.
