Deleted a 550mb file...freed up 4gb? umm...

So...I downloaded the BF2 1.41 full patch like...months ago. It's been on my HDD...I go to install it 2 weeks ago and the file was corrupt. SO...I download it again and it works fine. I'm discovering at 5.16AM that I need more space for what I'm doing...so I remove the corrupt file and my free disk space on F: goes from 11.4 to 15.4gb free....uh....w..t...f?

Was it in ZIP format or something? Still, that is pretty wack even if it was.
