Ok SETI Team, who's gonna crank things up a bit for an international race?

Im new to the entire BOINIC and SETI deal. What is a race?

When it happens to get slow around here, someone mentions race and we pour out of the woodwork to sign up on a list to participate for the race. That list gets split evenly into the amount of teams we want to use. Then we crunch to a set limit, like one million credits. First team to the goal wins. :)
