I had a leaky rad before, I drilled into it while making holes for a fan. just fill it up with water and blow into it. water will squirt and then when you locate the hole just put epoxy over it with a tooth pick. cost is around $5, unless you already have epoxy lying around.
 
an other option is to fill it up with air (as in not water) and put it into a bath tub of water. that'll give you a good idea. (it might be a good idea to plug up the barbs)
 
A radiator shop can solder it for about the same price, and it is a better repair, not to mention, you don't have to mess with finding and rechecking it.
