Installing VisionTek Geforce 2 Ti

I am trying to install a Geforce 2 Ti card and seem to have a few problems with Windows 2000 and XP. I have tried installing the original drivers that came with it and the most current version from Nvidia but there seems to be one file that is missing that it cannot find. I didn't write down the file name. When I try to reinstall the drivers it does not mention the missing file just copies files and shows at the end that the device is missing a file. I have run into the same problem with windows xp but there windows locks up or I receive module errors. I did install the drivers under windows 98 and they worked perfect. Any suggestions?

Just a shot in the dark but you could try making sure all traces of the previous drivers are uninstalled by using Detonator Destroyer which you can get here, Det Destroyer (http://www.guru3d.com) . I had trouble with the 21.xx and the shipping drivers in Win2k but v22.80 works well (with my Leadtek Gf3ti200).
