fixing a screwed up display

i just hooked my new lcd up and the instruction manual told me to run it at 1440x900... after a little toying with the refresh rate i was able to get it to work. however, when i quit out of world of warcraft my screen became scrambled and i now just get a "no signal" when windows loads. i guess is the changed in resolutions screwed it up... im currently using safe mode but changing th resolution doesnt seem to carry over in to a regular boot. how can i do this?

never mind i fixed it by doing system restore
