RAM for Acer Aspire 5050

I just bought this notebook for school, and i need a little more RAM for all the games i play there lol. First time laptop owner, so I was wondering how to install additional RAM. More importantly what kind of RAM do i need to buy. All i know is that its DDR2. is SO DIMM for laptops?

yea. thats what i needed. I found a site that showed me how to install it. Anyone have this laptop personally? i dont know which programs that came with this notebook can be removed without removing something crucial. there seems to be more software preinstalled on my laptop than on my desktop thats loaded with games/benchmarking progs/ video editing etc.
