Just before Christmas, I finally figured out that one of a pair of 256MB sticks of Corsair XMS PC3200 was the cause of one of my system's problems. I filled out all the online web forms for the automated RMA process, and got a RMA number in two days. I shipped out the bad stick on 12/23/2006.
Today (1/10/2007) I got this 512MB stick today via UPS.
Now--I'm not complaining at all!--but I have to get another stick of this to run dual channel again.
So, where's the cheapest place to find another stick of this?
Anyways--kudos to Corsair's RMA department--thank you. My only complaint is that I never received an email informing me that they received my shipment nor did they contact me at all letting me know that they were shipping anything back to me.
I was only a little concerned, but I knew that turn around might have been longer due to the holidays. It just would have been nice to get a status report on the RMA.
