Gigabyte S3 and OCZ ram Trouble or not

Im currently running the s3 965 with some **** ram and am awaiting some OCZ platinum xtc ram in the next couple days. The problem is that that ram doesnt show up on the gigabyte compatibility list. You will probably be ok with the ram you chose. Worst case scenario is you will have to manually set the timings and/or voltage before it will post.

I've got my computer assembled now with this memory and it works fine.
