I have a 12X HP writer. Can it Write upto 700Mb of cd's.

Wont it get damaged if i exceed 650Mb limit?

I know that Nero supports what is called Overburn. This allows you to fit a little extra on a standard 650Mb CDR. It is possible to buy 700Mb CDR's, that are designed to fit this amount of data on.
The Max Payne install CD has 699Mb of data on it, if the CD can read it I can see no problems with writing. Also most music CD's contain more than 650Mb of data as they are 80Min, so I would say that your writer will have no problems if you use 700Mb CDR's

12x burners are farely new, so I don't think you would have much of a problem, but I would get the 700mb cd's just to be sure...
making coasters can get to be expencive
