Speed difference between a 7950GT and 7900GTX?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that a 7950GT is faster than a 7900GTX. This just doesn't seem correct. What kind of a difference is there? I'm taking single card, not SLI.

I might only be by a few hundred points but the 7900 GTX is superior in all aspects.

The 7950GT is just a couple steps behind the 7900GTX, but not by much. Nothing a little overclocking cant catch up.

Think you are refering to a 7950GX2 being faster than a 7900GTX ...which it is.


A 7900GTX will mop the floor with a 7950GT if you have the system speed to fully support both.
