Note: This mod is only effective for dropping your temperatures if you have no HDDs in the HDD bay attached to the fan. If you have three or less HDDs move them to the bay that goes right next to the PSU.

Some aspects are a bit hard to explain but I have attached a couple pictures that will hopefully help explain things a bit.

Required Items:
3 120 MM Fans
4 Pieces of String or Twistie Ties

Steps 3, 4, and 5 require additional 120 mm fans.

Step 1: Remove your HDD bay and flip turn it around.

Step 2: Make sure your fan is still sucking air in from the front, through the HDD bay, and blowing it on your heatsink. Since you flipped the bay around, you might have to reverse the fan direction too.

Step 3: Put a string or twistie tie through the hole of an additional fan to secure it to the hdd bay, it will have to wrap around through the inside of the hdd bay so you can tie it. See pictures below for additional setup help.

Step 4: Use a longer string or twistie tie to attach a 3rd additional fan below the first one. Put the string or twistie tie through the bottom holes of the first fan and through the top holes of the 2nd fan. See pictures below for additional setup help.

Step 5: Lay another fan on top of the HDD bay so that it sucks air from the top of the case down into the HDD bay. See pictures below for additional setup help.

Step 6: Put the drive bay back in so that is directly aligned with you heatsink and the exhaust fan.

Step 7: Hook all the fans up.

When all done, things should look like this:

I have a FN121 Fan blowing directly on my Tuniq Tower. The two TT led fans that came with the case are in the very front and I have a FM121 fan on top of the HDD bay.

As always I really appreciate comments, concerns, and suggestions.

I have a better idea; waterize it :D

The fan mounted vertically doesnt look like it would be doing much more then circulating air in the case if you leave at a parrellel to the top of the case. Could you not angle a bit more (say a 45) so that it is either venting air into the case or venting it out.

Yeah, I just took it out and it didn't seem to affect temps any. Is there anywhere else I could put it that might make a difference?

You seem like you've got your airflow covered. You might be able to mount it behind the optical (?- hard to tell via the pics) drives at the top-front so it'll help air blow directly on the hard drives on the top-rear, but it's probably not necessary to have that extra black fan.

Looks nice to me. I dont think I could ever take any modding to such a expensive case though..

Yeah, my HD is running pretty cool at around 25*C-30*C.

Ecca, you are using the dust covers in the front of the case though arent you?

The hd cage only needs 1 fan. I have it loaded with 3 seagate 320 and they all run 26C in a 25c room. The armor only needs the 92 and 120 rear exust. I have a core 2 with ultra 120 in mine and all my temps are rock bottom for the core and the gpu. You are really going total overkill with it. I mean afterall the top mesh lets 50% of the heat vent. Best thing you could do would be to get a slot cooler.

TT armor it self is a great air flow case, so i dont think its necessay to add more fans.

It is in the upper left corner of the case. It is hidden by a removable 3 drive hard drive cage.
