nVidia Geforce 7600 GS question

just want to know id that fan sucks in air to cool the RAM or Blows air on the RAM

i have a PCI fan below the AGP PCI hole & i need this fan to help keep my computer cool

It blows air over the cooler and AROUND the ram, but unless you put some memory heatsinks on, wont do a good job of directly cooling the ram. They shouldnt need it anyway. the GS uses slower DDR2 instead of DDR3 found on the GT.
It wont be an issue as most 7600GS cards are cooled without a fan at all.
