My luck is down in Oblivion...

For some odd reason my luck in Oblivion is down. My STATED luck is 50, but it shows up on the tab screen as 12. (!)

Somewhere in the begining of the game it said my luck decreased... but I can't remember why. And I don't know how to increase it.

Please help.

First try worshipping at one of the temples(Churches) in any town. The big alter in the middle. See if that helps. Cures your ills in a falsh of light. Should be something your wearing if that doesn't work.

yeah there's a lot of armor that will increase certain primary attributes like strenght, magic or a fighting skill and decrease another lesser attribute such as luck or willpower or something along those lines.

Every now and then, you'll encounter a scenario (such as bribing another person for information) where you'll need strong luck or personality levels and that's when you'll either need another enchanted item like a ring or amulet or something along those lines also equipped to counter balance the first item's effects or just remove that first item that drains the effect temporarily.
