Unreal3 Engine Question

So I have been playing Splinter Cell DA and Rainbows Six Vegas and they both proudly display that they are powered by unreal technology, are they using the Unreal3 engine?

The screen shots for vegas look good but if you want a more true representation for how unreal 3 will look, go look at gears of war. Ever since day one of the announcement and showcasing of the U3 engine, they were using buildings and enemies that were created for Gears of war.

Unreal 3 will probably look even better as it will no doubt utilize the DX10 goodies but I think it will look extremely simliar to GOW.

anyone tried roboblitz? its based off the unreal 3 engine and the game is like $10
