Yea I have win98se on one partition and suse linux 7.2 liveeval on another. The suse liveeval I got for free from this web site and in order to run it, u boot it from ur cdrom drive and run it directly from ur cdrom drive. So what I did is that I copied all the files from the linux cd and put then on my second partition which is about 3 gigs. now I need a good program that when I boot up, it will give me a choice to what I want to boot with. oh yea, and one more thing, I had win xp but then I uninstalled it and now when I hold f8 while I boot up, it doesnt give me the choice too the command prompt. Is there any way to fix that?

first of all I don;t know much linux, so I can't comment on your installation troubles.
however for taking control of a multi-boot situation I used to use System Commander- sorry no link, it;s been a while. Nowadays I let the W2K boot manager handle it:)

ok ill bite, boot star works well, and has some shareware, boot magic works great, LILO also is the linux boot loader that will work, get it from many places free
there are lots out there and through the years i have found that the hands down most reliable, effortless one is Boot Magic I have had some problems with boot star, though it was one good loader in its time, and LILO is just a ***** to windows when it resides on a dual MS partition, hope this helps there really is a large choice, just do a search
