Looking for the most power I can get for 1200 dollars, less if possible. Was wondering what brands you suggest and what chips I should be looking for. I know that duo does well but does it even effect gaming? Most games only use one core right?
Been looking around 1505 dell looks ok. But would an acer or fujitsu, be a better buy in the long run as far as quality and service? Also does it break the warrenty to upgrade your own memory on dells they charge an arm for it.

Dells have great price/performance. Their service and support is pretty good too.
And it is ok to upgrade RAM on the Dells. It does not void warranty.
If you have access, you could check out the classifieds section. I know there are a few for sale there.

That is good to know on the ram, I have 2 of them already that could use a ram upgrade. I opted for the newegg though because it seems like a sweet deal. It has the higher speed memory, and I just wanted to try something new. A dell with the same specs was like 400 dollars more. It seems to low for that laptop.(The newegg I mean.)

Cool deal, I just purchased that ASUS as well. Let me know how yours turns out, some people thinks the screen is subpar, while others say different. Looking forward to it.
