How can I check the NB and SB temps and what are average readings?

Whats a good prog to check the NB and SB temps and what are considered good temps.

NB can usually be checked via the BIOS or a temp reading program like Speedfan. SB is usually not supported this way. The only way to get that temp would be with an external sensor or temp gun.

Thanks! Any idea what ideal temps are for the NB?

I don´t really know but my temp for the NB is about 50C° load. I think a little bit cooler would be nice. I mounted a small fan on the nb cooler but not much changed so far, but stable after all. p4c800 deluxe by the way!
