Hello,

I just did a fresh install of Windows XP. Windows Media Player was working just fine until I installed the crappy DVD player software that came with my drive. Now, all mpegs will not show video in WMP. The sound comes out just fine, but instead of video, I just get the visualizations that show when playing music. I assume my codec was overwritten or something, but I have no idea how to get a new one. Uninstalling the DVD software made no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Lejend

Edit: Mpeg's work with other software (divx player, QT) just not WMP.
