View Full Version : Core Duo Weeks?
Anyone got a good source for production weeks? I have one that includes up to about week 32, so L632A*** or B, but stores are in the L6040 range now and I can't find any info on if these weeks overclock just as good. I know I should look for a B instead of A as they seem to use less voltage.
Anyway I am only interested in the C2D 6400, and thanks.

there are no real single 'sources' per say, you just have to scour all the forums and look for them to pop up.
in that case, those of you OC'ing the 6400 from week 40 and on, please post your OC results.
Thanks.

i don't think i've seen anyone with a week 40 or above here.... although i don't read EVERY post. i think mid to late 30's were the highest i've seen.
Pepi, could you post the source you have for the weeks up to mid thirties? I just got a L631 tonight from newegg, but won't get my PSU until tuesday and i'm drooling with anticipation!

wiggin whats the letter after "L631" A or B?
depends which one you got, 6300? 6400? there is a couple 6400's with L631's for 6400. One L631 for the 6600, none for 6300.
The B chips are better from what I understand because they use less voltage.
