Can you damage your XP if you unlock it wrong?

I tried to unlock it but no go. Ill have to try it again. But could I damage my cpu if I do it incorrectly?

You can certainly short it and toast it, or you could lock it into the 11x mutli. Be carefull!

There are more than a few people around that have made new keychains out of XPs!

I took my time, about 2 hours, unlocking mine and had no problems. My theory is that it is better to spend way too much time unlocking 1 chip than way too much money on 2 of them!
