R6 Vegas + 24" + 6800nu = impossible

I have the card overclocked to 430/820 (128mb) 2x AA and 4x ASF everything in the game turned down running at 1024 x 768(no black bars around the side though) and the game STILL won't run smoothly more than 75% of the time.

The AA and ASF are whats making it tougher, try turning them off. I know that once you go AA and AF its hard to live without them, lol.

Care to explain how you have AA running in that game with your card? I cant get AA running with mine, supposedly only the G80 cards, and even then requires manual tweaking...

Well I don't know. I'm in display properties and it just says AF is 2x
How can I be sure?


Anyways, I bumped it down to 8x6 and it's actually running fairly smooth.

I would hazzard a guess that you may be trying to force AA thru the drivers, but it is not happening in-game. Shoot up a couple screenies, betcha there's jaggies galore.

AA is overrated if you get at least a decent res. I'd recommend not using it in such a game unless you have the FPS to burn. AF though if you can have it on, if not turn it off.

I have yet to get Vegas was hopping to but not sure I might just wait fro GRAW2 since I like the more out door type action.

AA is useless at high resolutions coz the details are so fine anyway IMO

Of course it's not going to run, your graphics card is really old and this game is brand new (plus badly ported).

Xbox 360 port to PC = Disaster lol. Well I've heard it runs at least on PC but yeah the game even drops (FPS wise) on the 360 in certain parts.

Sorry to say, but if you had thought of reading some reviews...you'd see that his game is very taxing on most systems.

i know you said your card is oced but have you unlocked the all the pixel shaders and stuff too if not that might help you out
