If you do searches on test ran like at about.com and other places AVG scored almost the lowest out there for it's abilities.
 
nod32 is by far the best antivirus solution for XP, it also supports vista now. You have to pay yearly, but it's worth it. I haven't had a virus, trojan, or problem for the last year I've used NOD32.

Yea but you still have to pay. Right now the eTrust is free for a year and they are a very good anti-virus. After that year is up I guess I'll switch over to M$ and pay the $24 or whatever a year for their suit that will include the anti-virus, system works, and adware remover.
