ok i have 2 WD 80gb's on raid 0 and installed 2 parition C and D. i got a new processor so i wanted to format C parition for a clean install. Boot up with window disc and deleted C parition but after it formats and copy stuff from the disc, it would still boot into window like nothing has happened. is there any way we can format C parition without break raid and losing all my files in D.

When you install Windows, there is an option to format the partition. Just select format or quick format and the partition should be formated before windows is installed. You will never see an empty formated partition because that is where the operating system resides.

Did you install the drivers with a floppy by using the F6 option, or have them slipsteamed into a custom Windows install CD?

I just installed Windows on my raptors in raid 0. You might have to delete the old raid array, then create a new one. Then load the Windows CD and use a full format, not a quick one.
