audio problems

I got this problem with power dvd no audio at all when playing dvds. I was also was trying to watch some mpg clip in media player that was in some kind on dvd format and no audio with that. Audio works great with everything else. Any one know what im not thinking of?

Hmmm...I'd guess your PC doesn't have the proper codec. Maybe try downloading and installing the AC3 Filter Codec?

i have the same problem but the other way around. I cant see the DVD or sound. I used to play DVD's on the media player but now i cant.

I had a similar problem with DVD-A disc. It turned out to be AnyDVD that wasn't allowing Creative DVD Audio Player to work correctly. I disabled AnyDVD and it worked.
